Free unlimited game review
Yes: you can review as many games as you want, free, with no sign-up and no daily limit. The engine runs on your own device, so there is no server quota to run out.
Why there is no daily limit
A daily limit exists when a server does the work. Here it does not. Stockfish is downloaded once and runs in a Web Worker inside your browser tab. Our server never runs an engine and keeps no count of your reviews.
Comparing options side by side? Our Chess.com Game Review alternative page has a sourced table of free allowances.
The same design means your moves stay on your device. A paid Coach is planned as an extra and is not launched. The review on this page does not depend on it.
What one review gives you
- Accuracy for both sides. One number per player. How it is worked out.
- A class on every move. From brilliant and great down to inaccuracy, mistake and blunder. Opening moves are marked as book.
- Key moments with a reason. One plain sentence for each, plus lines you can click and play on the board.
- A leak report across games. The report page ranks the mistakes that cost you most over your recent games.
Here is a real review of the Opera Game (Paris, 1858, 33 half-moves). White scores 98.2% accuracy and Black 82.8%. The engine marks 5 moves great and 4 inaccuracies. The card shows move 16, Qb8+.
Every key moment gets a sentence like the one under the board, built only from engine lines. Open the full example review.
The real cost of unlimited: your time
Unlimited does not mean instant. You pay with your device's time and battery. In our own tests on one laptop, with up to four engine workers, games of 21 to 77 half-moves took about 4 to 29 seconds. A 33-half-move game took about 17 seconds.
Your device may be faster or slower. We estimate phones take longer, but we have not measured them, so we make no promise. The engine is a lite build of Stockfish. Treat its labels as a guide to where to look, then check the lines yourself.
How to bring your games
- Paste a PGN. Works with a game from any source. See the PGN analyzer guide for where to find one.
- Lichess username. Pick a recent public game from the list.
- Chess.com username. Same idea: enter your name, pick a game.
Press Review. A quick pass runs over every position, then a deeper pass re-checks the moves that look like mistakes or standouts. To see how mistakes are labelled, read the blunder checker guide.
Questions about unlimited review
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no account step in the review. Paste a game and press Review.
Can I review my Chess.com or Lichess games?
Yes. Paste the PGN, or enter a Lichess or Chess.com username and pick a game. Your browser asks those sites for your public games.
Does it work on a phone?
It is built to run in a mobile browser, but the engine work happens on the phone, so long games take longer than on a laptop. We have not measured phones yet.
Is there really no limit?
We do not count or cap your reviews, and no server runs the analysis. Your own device sets the pace.
How is this different from a review built into a chess site?
Here the engine runs on your device, nothing about your moves goes to our server, and each key moment comes with a plain sentence and lines you can play on the board. We are an independent site, not affiliated with any chess platform.
